The CPMT Team Is Growing

Growth inside a professional services firm should never be about growth for its own sake. The real goal is simple: better service for the clients who trust you with important decisions.

Any expansions at CPMT are made with that goal in mind, including our newest additions to the team. Attorneys and team members have joined the firm to provide even better estate planning capabilities and offer more services. This transition is both a strategic one for CPMT and one that has been personally fulfilling for us.

A Professional Homecoming

Our most exciting news is the return of an attorney who worked with us in the past. After spending years building a successful independent practice and working with high-net-worth families, Bryan Galat has returned to CPMT.

For him, a return here is the natural next step. The opportunity to combine an established client base with the additional resources of a larger firm makes it possible to provide more comprehensive services and deeper support to clients.

For the firm, the transition also reflects a commitment to thoughtful growth. Rather than expanding randomly, CPMT continues to build its team intentionally, focusing on areas where clients need additional expertise and support.

Bringing an Experienced Team Along

One factor that helped make the transition seamless was the ability to bring an existing team over together. A group of nine professionals who had already been working closely with clients joined the firm as part of the move, which let us maintain continuity for clients and the team.

Clients can work with the same trusted team they’ve built a bond with, but also gain access to all CPMT’s additional resources and other areas of practice.

The result is a combination of familiarity and growth. Clients still recognize the people they work with day to day, but they now have the backing of a larger firm with expanded capabilities.

Expanding the Next Generation of Attorneys

The expansion is part of a broader effort to strengthen the firm’s bench of younger attorneys to carry the practice into the future.

One example is Kenisha, an attorney whose career path highlights how professional relationships evolve over time. She began her legal career as a legal assistant, later became a paralegal, and eventually attended law school before building her own reputation as a skilled attorney. Her return to work alongside longtime colleagues brings both experience and a shared history that strengthens the firm’s collaborative culture.

Another rising attorney, Yuliya, has already demonstrated strong client communication skills and a willingness to learn across practice areas. Her curiosity and initiative make her a valuable addition to a firm that encourages attorneys to collaborate and support each other rather than operate in isolated practice silos.

Expanding Specialized Expertise

Along with our focus on estate planning, we’ve also been able to expand into more specialized areas, like special needs planning. This area of law is very important for families making long-term plans for any loved ones with disabilities.

Having an attorney with this experience on staff means that CPMT can provide guidance now, and train new attorneys in this complex area of practice.

Looking Ahead

Every decision to grow the firm ultimately comes back to the same goal: serving clients more effectively and efficiently.
